After trying to get pregnant for 2.5 years and 3 IVF, 4 transfers, one miscarriage within the last year, I was feeling exhausted. At 43 I was advised to use an egg donor if I was going to do another round of IVF and I didn’t know if I would have the energy to do another IVF.
I started looking online to see if there was anything else I could do in order to improve my fertility. I found I lot of information, but I was unsure which one would best apply to my situation. My husband and I had been trying to get pregnant for six years unsuccessfully, and had 3 miscarriages. I was ready to throw in the towel because I couldn’t handle another loss. Dr. Terzo gave me a plan to prepare my body and balance my hormones. I was able to get pregnant naturally and gave birth to a healthy baby girl at the age of 40 in September!
After 7 years and 2 failed IVFs, I decided to go see Dr. Terzo for some help. I was feeling a bit hopeless that anything would work. My fertility doctor had told me it was impossible to get pregnant using my own eggs after my last IVF. After following her methods for three months, I began to see big changes in my periods and I also felt happier and less stressed. After six months of working together, I got pregnant and gave birth to a healthy baby boy at the age of 40!
My fertility doctor said I had unexplained infertility and the only way we could get pregnant was through IVF. After 5 years of trying, I was losing hope, but really really wanted to find a way to support my body rather than putting drugs in it. I would stay up for hours every night trying to find out how I could improve my fertility and tried different supplements and different diets, but I didn’t know if anything was really helping. My husband and I have been trying to conceive on and off for about a year and a half. I knew, I wanted to conceive as naturally as possible, but I needed guidance and direction.

At age 41, I came to Dr. Laurie after I had two failed IVF cycles and a diagnosis of diminished ovarian reserve and poor egg quality. My doctor told me I needed to use a donor egg. Dr. Laurie explained to me that we could improve my fertility despite my age. My cycles improved and I got pregnant naturally after just 3 months. She was right! I now have a healthy baby boy!
Dr Laurie is wonderful - from the moment I connected with her for an intro call I felt like I was finally working with a doctor who I knew would support and help me. I had previously worked with other doctors and just felt something was not right. When I started to work with Dr Laurie, she easily and gracefully cut through a lot of previous things that did not make sense and put a plan in place that made a lot of sense and also made me feel better. My name is Asha and my husband and I were trying to conceive for a year and 10 months before we contacted Dr Laurie.
